On the May 12th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez successfully defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Dakota Kai and Bayley. But that match resulted injuries for Dakota Kai and Liv Morgan.
Recently, WWE announced that Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vacated WWE Women’s Tag Team titles due to Liv Morgan’s injury. Bayley also on the backstage segment with Raquel Rodriguez on Smackdown mentioned that Dakota Kai also injured and she may be away for long time.
According to the Fightful Select reports, it’s confirmed that Dakota Kai did in fact also suffer an injury during the tag titles match on May 12th. It’s also noted that Dakota Kai’s injury appeared be more worse than Liv Morgan’s.
On the recent edition of Friday Night Smackdown, WWE announced that there will be a fatal four-way match for the vacant tag team championships on the May 29th edition of Monday Night Raw, between Bayley & IYO SKY, Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, and Raquel Rodriguez and a mystery partner for a chance to become new champions.
