Reported Update About Jimmy Uso's Injury And Being Out Of Action For "The Foreseeable Future"

WWE effectively wrote Jimmy Uso off TV during a recent Friday Night SmackDown. A recent report clarified on Jimmy’s status recently and confirmed the former Tag Team Champion is not legitimately hurt.

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa brutally attacked Jimmy Uso a couple of weeks back and that resulted in the Jimmy needing medical attention following the show. On the last week’s SmackDown, Michael Cole revealed that Jimmy had a ruptured rib cartilage and would be out of action indefinitely.

Many fans are wondering whether Jimmy Uso was dealing with an actual injury or might be forced to miss TV time due to another personal reason. According to the Wrestling Observer reports, Jimmy Uso’s absence is all part of the ongoing storyline. Here’s what Dave Meltzer’s reported:

“On SmackDown they said that Jimmy Uso suffered a ruptured rib cartilage and would be out of action for the foreseeable future. That is storyline.”

Following the Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa attack on Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso confronted Tribal Chief later on the show and challenged him for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. After the recent edition of Smackdown, it’s made official that Jey Uso is set to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title in Tribal Combat match at Summer Slam 2023.
