WWE Reportedly Made Changes To Friday Night SmackDown Due To Medical Issues

WWE made several changes to this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, but it had nothing to do with Vince McMahon. These changes were made due to medical reasons as per the reports.

Ms. Money In The Bank IYO Sky was supposed to face Zelina Vega on SmackDown as per the early plans. However, it was Charlotte Flair who faced SKY instead. It’s not clear if this was one of the changes that were mentioned. Following the match, Charlotte Flair attacked by Asuka, who is set to defend her title in a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair.

PWInsider reported on the changes being made to scheduled plans on Friday Night SmackDown this week. According to the original report, there were several talents pulled from the show because of medical reasons.

There were rumors that is currently being heard that some stars were tested positive for COVID-19 or came into contact with someone who was COVID positive. At this time, it’s not clear if the Vega change was because of this or unrelated, and who the stars were that were pulled from WWE SmackDown.
