On the April 22nd episode of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch won a 14-woman Battle Royal by last eliminating Liv Morgan to claim the vacant Women’s World Championship. The following week on Raw, while Lynch was celebrating her victory, she was interrupted by Morgan and Nia Jax. It was Jax’s final night on the Raw roster before being drafted to SmackDown in the 2024 WWE Draft.
Later that night, a match between Liv Morgan and Nis Jax took place, with Morgan emerging victorious. This prompted Lynch to grant Morgan a title match, which was subsequently scheduled for King and Queen of the Ring.
At WWE King And Queen Of The Ring 2024, Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch via pinfall and became the new WWE Women’s Champion. At the closing moments of the match, Dominik Mysterio made some interference to help Becky but Morgan took the advantage and hit DDT to Lynch on chair. Then, she hits her finisher and pins Lynch to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.
