– Cody Rhodes and A-Town Down (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory segment). Segment ended with chaos and setting up a tag team match between A-Town Down and Cody Rhodes with the tag team partner he chose. Nick Aldis tells Cody Rhodes to get the tag partner till the end of the night.
– Andrade El Idolo defeated Carmelo Hayes via pinfall.
– Nia Jax and Bayley interview by Corey Graves.
– There will be a SummerSlam Kickoff Event on Friday August 2nd that will be streaming on Peacock.
– Chelsea Green and Piper Niven prevents Bianca BelAir & Jade Cargill from walking into Nick Aldis’ Office. Chelsea says that Bianca and Jade are complaining losers. Well, isn’t Chelsea about to do the same thing? Chelsea tells Bianca and Jade to walk out. Bianca says that Chelsea is starting to get on her nerves, how about she meets her in the ring, and then we’ll see who gets to talk to Nick Aldis first.
– Bianca BelAir w/Jade Cargill defeated Chelsea Green w/Piper Niven via pinfall.
– Tiffany Stratton Vignette/Music Video.
– Logan Paul & LA Knight Contract Signing ended with chaos. Logan throws the contract at Knight. Aldis had to step in between both guys. Logan attacks Knight from behind. All hell is breaking loose in Omaha. Knight avoids The Titanium Punch. Knight goes for The BFT, but Logan retreats to the outside.
– LA Knight runs into Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez in the backstage area. Santos congratulates Knight on his getting his shot for the United States Championship at SummerSlam. He must be sitting on top of the world after pinning Logan Paul at Madison Square Garden. Knight wants Santos to get to the point. Everybody knows that, if Santos was fighting Knight one-on-one, he would be fighting Logan at SummerSlam.
LA Knight says that he has some free time. If Santos wants to get in contact with him, his mother has his number. Santos says that it’s not a bright idea for Knight to pick a fight with him before his big match, but he accepts the challenge.
– Michigan defeated Tiffany Stratton w/Nia Jax via pinfall.
– Solo Sikoa promo. He warns that if anyone tries to be the Cody Rhodes partner then he will do the same thing like he did to Randy Orton.
– Next week on SmackDown, there will be a WWE Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Gauntlet Match. It will feature The Street Profits, The Bloodline, The OC, Pretty Deadly, Legado Del Fantasma, and Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews. LA Knight collides with Santos Escobar. Plus, Bayley & Michin takes on Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton.
– Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens defeated A-Town Down (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) via pinfall. After the match, The Bloodline makes their way down to the ringside area. Rhodes lands The Suicide Dive. Owens blocks The TKO. Owens rakes the eyes of Tanga Loa. All hell is breaking loose in Omaha. Rhodes and Owens prepare to put Solo Sikoa through the announce table. Jacob Fatu makes the save for Solo. Fatu SuperKicks Owens.
Fatu throws Rhodes into the ring steps. Owens with rapid fire haymakers. Fatu fires back with another superkick. Fatu with repeated headbutts in the corner. Fatu with Four Running Hip Attacks.
