WWE Reports: Update On Former WWE Champion Shinsuke Nakamura's WWE Absence

The former WWE Champion Shinsuke Nakamura hasn’t been on WWE TV for a long time. Now, Fightful Select shared an update about his unexpected WWE absence.

According to the Fightful Select reports, Shinsuke Nakamura is absolutely fine and fit in health. Even though, he didn’t appear on any WWE TV and the reason for his absence is unclear. He’s on the same boat as AJ Styles, who is good in health but don’t make any appearance on WWE TV.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s last WWE television appearance was on the April 22, 2024, episode of RAW, where he lost to Sheamus. Since then, he has not appeared on WWE TV despite being healthy and available for competition. His absence is not due to any injury; rather, WWE simply hasn’t booked him on their televised programming.

Despite of being off to WWE TV, Nakamura has remained active in WWE’s live events, especially during their overseas tours. His most recent match took place on August 29, 2024, at a WWE live event in Frankfurt, Germany. During this event, Nakamura participated in a four-way match for the United States Championship, which was successfully defended by LA Knight.

On the recent WWE Friday Night SmackDown, WWE announced the return of The Phenomenal AJ Styles for next week. With this announcement, WWE fans also speculating that The King of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura will be returned to WWE television soon.
