Big News for WWE and Netflix Fans!
WWE has officially partnered with Netflix to stream its flagship show, Monday Night Raw, beginning in January 2025. This shift marks a major change for WWE as it transitions from the USA Network, and the first episode is expected to make waves with legendary appearances and celebrity guests. Rumor has it that Travis Scott may join this high-profile debut, adding a pop culture punch to the event!
According to WrestleVotes Radio, discussions are underway to bring Travis Scott to the January 6 premiere in Los Angeles, with Triple H and Scott even hinting at the possibility by sharing photos together on social media. Fans of both WWE and Scott have reason to be excited: Scott’s song “FE!N” has been the soundtrack for all WrestleMania 41 promotions, and he’s already made appearances backstage at Raw events, solidifying his connection with WWE.
There have been some preliminary high-level discussions to have rap superstar Travis Scott appear on the first Monday Night Raw on Netflix from Los Angeles on January 6. Of course, Scott and the WWE have a strong relationship, as he and Rey Mysterio appeared together at Fanatics Fest this past summer in New York City. In addition, WWE will have a presence at the upcoming Complex Con event in Las Vegas, which features Travis Scott among other musical icons. TC, it is worth noting that his song FE!N has been used in all the promotional material for Wrestlemania 41, so WWE is looking to go down this route, the route of bringing in some heavy mainstream names for Netflix debut, and they don’t get much bigger in the pop culture world than Travis Scott.
With John Cena also expected to return for the premiere, WWE seems determined to make its Netflix launch an unforgettable event, drawing not just WWE fans but also the broader pop culture audience.
