WWE Monday Night RAW Results:
Jey Uso Kicked Off Raw

Jey Uso opened the show just days before his World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The Ring General interrupted, calling Uso nothing more than a mascot, a fun-loving cartoon character who doesn’t deserve to be world champion—and won’t be after Saturday.
Uso fired back, reminding Gunther that he headlined the biggest event of the year and after Saturday, he’ll be the new world champion.
Only a little physicality was witnessed by the segment in order to increase the excitement to the match with Uso closing things up in the best stand.
It’s the ideal last promo that set up for a big match to come. With Gunther beginning a little stiffer than his usual, he found himself immediately and started working over a solid promo, which was countered confidently by Uso.
The exchange was firm and played in front of a pumped-up audience, successfully escalating the excitement leading to the night’s Saturday clash.

After the official sent Xavier Woods to the back for tripping Rey Mysterio, where he quickly pinned Kofi Kingston to take the win.
The New Day turned on Mysterio the moment the bell rang and started beating him up, and even took down The LWO when they tried to step in.
Kevin Owens came face-to-face with Sami Zayn

During the commercial break, Jackie Redmond did interview Karrion Kross and Scarlett during this segment, with the man warning of escalating rivalries when Kross had Sami Zayn eventually heading out into the ring.
Zayn stated that he’s already among the best WWE has to offer and that the only thing that separates him from Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk is not having a world title.
He then announced that he had signed up for the Royal Rumble, when Kevin Owens suddenly emerged. The Prizefighter informed his best friend that he could win the Rumble—and more importantly, they could headline WrestleMania together. But for that to happen, Owens would first need to defeat Cody Rhodes for the WWE title at the Rumble on February 2.
This was a great moment, not only setting up a potential Zayn vs. Owens match at WrestleMania but also teasing that it could be for the top title in WWE—if Zayn is willing to help Owens, much like he did for Roman Reigns. Owens put his best friend in a tough spot, presenting a moral dilemma for Zayn as he chases his own world title dream.
A strange turn of events: Owens becomes the manipulative figure Reigns once was; descending into selfishness he loathed in Tribal Chief.
Nia Jax defeated Bayley

Right after the hard-fought victory for Nia Jax against Bayley with the Annihilator in the final moments of an exciting match, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley invaded the ring, throwing a wild brawl with Jax. And then Ripley challenged Jax to a title match at this Saturday night Main Event.
Penta defeated Pete Dunne

Following an incredible debut on last week’s show, Penta was back in the ring to do battle with former NXT United Kingdom Champion, “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne.
Dunne ran wild early, keeping a sustained level of dominance throughout the commercial break. He worked cleverly around Penta’s joints, using that against him in which he out-wrestled and punished his opponent. Penta pushed back, though, bringing Dunne level with a Mexican Destroyer and a tope con hilo.
After a final flurry of offense from Dunne, Penta countered with the Sacrifice armbreaker before finishing him off with the Penta Driver for the pinfall victory.
CM Punk vowed that no one will stop him from making history in the Royal Rumble Match on The Road to WrestleMania.

CM Punk joined Jackie Redmond for an in-arena promo, which was only broadcast internationally and for ad-free Netflix subscribers.
The Chicago native declared his intention to eliminate 29 other Superstars and win the Royal Rumble, with the support of his fans behind him.
Punk took aim at Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, John Cena, Roman Reigns, and even Hulk Hogan, vowing to settle old scores and cash in a favor if needed on his path to a Royal Rumble victory and a spot at WrestleMania.
This was a red-hot promo from Punk—full of intensity and fire—that only heightened the excitement for the upcoming match. If it didn’t air on the main broadcast, it definitely should have.
