Things got a little tense during the second innings of Match 29 between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 13. A brief but heated argument broke out between Karun Nair and Jasprit Bumrah after a minor collision while running between the wickets.
Even though Karun apologized right away, Bumrah didn’t seem too pleased and looked visibly upset. Karun was later seen having a word with MI captain Hardik Pandya, and the cameras even caught Rohit Sharma’s reaction, which quickly went viral online.

As for the match itself, Karun played a brilliant innings, smashing 89 runs off just 40 balls, including a 22-ball half-century. It was his first IPL fifty in seven years, and it came in his very first game of the season. Despite his efforts, DC fell short by 12 runs, chasing MI’s total of 205/5.
Things unraveled for Delhi in the final overs, with three run-outs in the penultimate over, killing any hopes of a comeback. This was DC’s first loss of the season after winning four games in a row.
Karn Sharma was the star for MI with the ball, picking up 3 wickets for 36 runs, and was named Player of the Match.
