Ali Khan set to become the first Player from USA to play in IPL
KKR now have Ali Khan along with Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins, Tom Banton, Chirs Green, Varun, Nikhil Naik as
new inclusions to the KKR side.
Kolkata Knight Riders roped in Ali Khan as a replacement for pacer Harry Gurney. Harry Gurney was pulled out of IPL 2020 and England’s Vitality Blast due to shoulder injury. Gurney is replaced by 29-year-old Ali Khan from USA. Ali will be the first player from USA to feature in the IPL.
Ali Khan is a fast bowler and also part of Trinbago Knight Riders(TKR) winners of CPL 2020. TKR is a sister franchise of KKR. The fast bowler has been among the best bowlers in the recently concluded CPL. He picked up eight wickets with an economy rate of 7.43. He was known for his 140kph speed and perfect yorkers during slog overs.
Dwayne Bravo picked up Ali Khan at Global T20 Canada. Because of his performance the former TKR skipper took him to CPL.
Where he managed to get 16 wickets in 12 games. Later, he played for Bangladesh Premier League and Pakistan Super League.

‘Next stop Dubai’.
