Ronda Rousey Return Date Reportedly Revealed
Rowdy Ronda Rousey was last seen in WWE at WrestleMania 35, where she lost her Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in first-ever all women’s WrestleMania main event. And many fans wants to see her return to WWE.
Dave Meltzer on latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter discussed about the WWE superstars who weren’t drafted during the WWE Draft 2020. Then he stated that Rousey is still under WWE Contract and expected to return at WrestleMania in Los Angeles
“[Ronda] Rousey is still under contract and was expected to do WrestleMania in Los Angeles.”
There is lot of speculation about WWE Contract status of Ronda Rousey. Recently in interview with NYPost, Paul Heyman teased that Ronda Rousey might have extended or she may got the new deal but WWE is keeping it secret.
“Everyone presumes that Ronda Rousey’s contract expires at a certain time. I don’t understand why people don’t realize that perhaps, just perhaps, Ronda Rousey’s contract has been extended or she has worked out a new deal and it would not benefit either WWE or Ronda Rousey to go public with that information. But why wouldn’t people understand that it would be kept secret?”
Rousey had an incredible run in WWE, she made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, where she teamed up with Kurt Angle to take on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
Later that year she won Raw Women’s Championship by defeating Alexa Bliss at Summer Slam 2018. Next year, Becky Lynch after winning Royal Rumble, challenged Rousey for Raw Women’s Title at WrestleMania 35. Later, Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair added to the match, making it winners takes all match.
