The former Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain – Akam and Rezar were released from the WWE in last year’s September. There release surprised many fans as they prominently featured on WWE TV whenever they are ready to go.

Following there WWE release, AOP didn’t sign with any other promotion and vanished from wrestling circuit. That lead to many speculations by fans about there wrestling status. Recently, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that The Authors of Pain have reportedly retired from in-ring competition.
A wrestling promoter reportedly wanted to book Authors of Pain but that promoter’s personnel were told that Akam and Rezar had retired from in-ring competition and now, working regular jobs.

Following that rumors surrounding around the internet, The Authors of Pain reacted to it by squashing the rumors of their retirement. Akam took the Twitter and posted a picture of himself and Razer infront of NXT ring with their former manager Paul Ellering with a short message. Check the tweet below:

Following that tweet, Razer also posted the same picture and put the same massage stating that they didn’t done with the wrestling yet. Check the tweet below:
