Bianca Belair won the Smackdown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37 Night One by defeating The Boss Sasha Banks. After winning the title, Belair mostly feuded with Bayley and successfully defended her title couple of time.
Back in May, there were reports suggested that Bianca Belair and Bayley would battle each other in Hair vs. Hair match to culminate their feud in WWE. But it didn’t came in fruition.
Recently, in a virtual meet and greet with pro wrestling fan Mayur Dhwaj Singh, Bianca Belair stated that she was glad got away from hair vs. hair match. She also further said that everyone is talking about that match but she didn’t want to do that.
“I’m just glad that I got away from everybody talking about a hair vs. hair match (laughs).” Belair continued, “Everybody was talking about that for a while and I’m like, ‘I don’t wanna do a hair vs. hair match.'”
Recently, The Role Model Bayley got injured and will be out of action for nine months. Bayley was originally set to fight Binaca Belair in I Quit match at Money In The Bank 2021 PPV but that match was taken off from the event after Bayley’s injury. On next week’s Friday Night Smackdown, Bianca Belair will defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Carmella infront of live fans.
