The former NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Scarlett were recently released by WWE due to budget cuts along with several other superstars. Now, we got some backstage details about the Karrion Kross and Scarlett before WWE release.
Fightful Select have revealed a report regarding the creative plans for some outgoing talent such as Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux. It was known that Scarlett wasn’t brought up with Kross during his main roster debut. According to the reports WWE did look at Scarlett as a potential wrestler for Raw and SmackDown, but she was ‘quickly sidelined.’
It was also noted that there were multiple pitches made for Scarlett to be a part of Karrion Kross on main roster, but the plans never made it to TV.
Regarding the rumors of Karrion Kross having backstage heat, this report notes that Kross seemed to have some degree of heat and several people went to bat for the former NXT Champion.
While, Many people reportedly tried to ‘plead about the direction of his booking and character.’ It was also added that WWE had discussed about to adjust Karrion Kross character, but nothing came into fruition. It was also noted that many within the company felt the booking was the main issue with Karrion Kross and not the character.
